Do you only work with British hardwood?
Yes – we specialise exclusively in British hardwoods, sourced from sustainably managed woodlands across the UK. This supports local forestry and keeps our carbon footprint low.
What types of wood do you stock?
We regularly stock Oak, Elm, Sycamore, Cherry, Walnut, Ash, London Plane, Yew, Beech, and Burr variants. We also have other species available from time to time, so feel free to ask if you’re looking for something specific.
Is your timber kiln-dried or air-dried?
We offer both kiln-dried and air-dried timber, including some slabs that are still in the air-drying process. If you have specific requirements for your project, let us know and we’ll help you choose the right option.
Do you offer slab preparation services?
Yes – we provide slab levelling to ensure your timber is flat and ready for use. We can also discuss additional preparation depending on your project needs.
Can I visit your workshop/showroom?
Absolutely! We’re based just outside Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and welcome visitors by appointment. It’s a great opportunity to browse our stock and discuss bespoke projects in person. The address is:

How does the bespoke furniture process work?
Our bespoke process is simple:
- Idea – You tell us what you’re looking for.
- Consultation – We’ll work with you on design, sizing, timber selection, and finish.
- Make – Once agreed, we handcraft your furniture to order.
What types of bespoke furniture do you make?
We specialise in live edge dining tables, benches, coffee tables, console tables, shelves, and chopping boards – but we’re happy to discuss custom ideas too.
Do you deliver?
Yes – we offer delivery across the UK. Depending on the size of the item and your location, we’ll arrange the best option, whether that’s courier, local delivery, or collection.
How long does bespoke furniture take to make?
Lead times vary depending on the piece, but most projects take between 4–8 weeks from consultation to completion. We’ll always keep you updated along the way.
Can I supply my own wood for a project?
In some cases, yes – we’re happy to work with wood you supply if it’s suitable for the job. We’ll assess it during the consultation to make sure it meets our standards.
Do you sell gift cards or offer vouchers?
Yes – gift vouchers are available and make a great present for anyone passionate about natural materials, woodworking, or home décor. Contact us for details.
